The word 'icon' is thrown around a lot (and I'm pretty guilty of this), but blink-182 taught a generation how to not give a damn and just have fun. The Rock Show is an riotous teenage anthem, with an instantly recognisable chorus and a rebellious message (Seventeen without a purpose or direction/We don't owe anyone a fucking explanation.) Blink made a career out of accessible, catchy, and long lasting punk pop - leaving fans all over waiting - somewhat impatiently - for the new album. Viva la blink!
