Subscribing a little to Valentine's day, here is one of my favourite atypical love songs. A lament for lost love, yet it's not essentially a sad song. There's something ultimately comforting about it, with acoustic guitars and emotion-filled vocals. One of the greatest things about Death Cab For Cutie is that their songs always seem to tell a story. 'If there's no one beside you when your soul embarks, I'll follow you into the dark.' A sentiment of eternal love if ever there was one.
